⚖️ Mixing Ratio

2 g of agar per 200 ml of water

(1 g of agar makes approximately 100 ml of culture medium.)

🧪 How to Prepare Agar

1. Measure 2 g of agar.

2. Add the agar to boiling water (200 ml).

3. Boil for about 1 minute while stirring continuously.

4. Pour the hot agar into:

   • a Petri dish,

   • a maze,

   • or a culture container,

   creating a layer approximately 0.5 cm thick.

5. Place it in the refrigerator.

6. Wait until the agar has completely solidified.

Once solid, the culture medium is ready to use.
